SimbaSIM is a prepaid travel eSIM: unlimited data for the length of your trip, delivered as a QR code by email in about a minute, installed beside your own SIM so your number keeps working. This page is the plain version of who we are and what we promise.
What SimbaSIM is
A data-only eSIM for travellers, sold from simbasim.com and delivered by email. It works in 130+ countries, with 8 of the most-booked destinations and dozens more having a page of their own. The eSIM connects to local partner networks and switches to whichever is strongest; 5G is included wherever the local network runs it. There is no app to install and no account to create before you buy.
The days on a plan start when you first connect at your destination, not when you pay, so you can buy weeks ahead and install at home on Wi-Fi.
What you pay and what you get

Those are the prices for most destinations. Where local networks cost much more, a destination is on a higher price; each destination page shows its own price before you pay. Every plan includes truly unlimited data: it never stops, though speeds may be reduced after very heavy use in a day, as set out in the terms. Hotspot is included. The eSIM carries data only: no voice minutes or SMS, and your home number handles those as before. Prices checked 10 September 2026.
Refunds. If the eSIM will not install or never connects, you get the full amount back, no questions. Once data has been used, the unused portion is refundable within 30 days. Card refunds take 5 to 10 business days. The refund policy is the binding version.
Who is behind it
The site is operated as StartGlobal Inc. Registered office: 440 N Barranca Ave #3696, Covina, California 91723, USA.
Payments are handled by Stripe, which means we never see your card details. Every purchase gets a hosted invoice. Orders and the site run on Cloudflare. The eSIM profiles themselves are issued by a network partner whose networks carry your data at the destination.
SimbaSIM is not connected to SIMBA, the Singapore mobile carrier, nor to Simbase or any similarly named service.
How we handle reviews
Every review quoted on the site is a real customer's own words, used with their permission. The rating shown beside them is the average across all the reviews we have received, not the average of the ones we chose to quote, and anyone connected to the business is labelled as such. We do not pay for reviews and we do not write them.
Why a bear
Simba is a bear, not a lion. We know. The shirts were already printed, and he has made peace with it.
